An invitation for you…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (15th June) we mark Trinity Sunday and there will be services in both of our Churches. You will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.
Christ Church
Our Sunday Worship begins at 11am, so feel free to join us a few minutes before then. If you’re new to our Church, please introduce yourself to one of the welcome team and we will be happy to talk you through what you can expect. During our service we will share Communion (bread and wine) together and there will be the opportunity to receive prayers for healing – either for yourself or for someone else. Our Bible readings for the service will be from Romans 5.1-5 & John 16.12-15. Tea/Coffee will be available free of charge at the end of our service with the opportunity to sit and chat to others.
St Peter’s Church
We gather for a service of Evening Prayer (also known as Evensong) which begins at 6pm. During this service we will hear two readings from scripture: Proverbs 8.1-4, 22-31 & Romans 5.1-5 as well as singing Psalm 8 together. If you’re new to St Peter’s, please introduce yourself to one of the welcome team and we will ensure that you have everything you need to enjoy the service. After the service, refreshments will be served, free of charge, in the Antill Vestry and we would encourage you to stay if you can to enjoy the opportunity to chat with other worshippers.
