Evensong & Curry Night

We finished our week of Summer Activities with a traditional service of Evensong led by our Vicar Colin. Like the morning, we picked up on the theme of Joseph, and thought about how sometimes we make mistakes, but God can turn our mistakes into something good. We reflected on how relationships that have broken down can be healed by God and we can be reconciled with those we have become estranged from. We recognise that through God’s mercy, we can have hope for the future – even when the present is not looking so good.

We followed this service with a Curry night. Our thanks to our friends at Gurkha New Delhi for doing the cooking for us.
