Mountsorrel REVIVAL

We kicked off the week by joining in with the Mountsorrel Revival and opening the doors of St Peter’s to welcome visitors in for a welcome refreshment stop, an opportunity to have-a-go bell ringing or just to enjoy visiting our beautiful Church. Teas, coffees, cakes were available as well as some great games for the children to play. Guests had the opportunity to try and win a bottle of wine (or was it just water).

The sun was shining on us and we had the luxury of shade in the Churchyard to enjoy a moment of peace and quiet in an otherwise fun-fuelled day. We also received donations totalling £200 which will be donated to the Mountsorrel Community Team to help organise next year’s Mountsorrel Revival.

God willing we will do it again next year – 8th August 2027.
