Rooted Youth Discipleship Group

Our Youth Discipleship group is for young people in school years 7-11 who would like to explore faith and their relationship with Jesus. Each month we explore a different theme from our Rooted Journels such as forgiveness, joy and wisdom, through a variety of different activities. We aim to equip our young people with the skills and confidence to read the Bible, pray and talk about their faith with their friends. They are encouraged to use their journals throughout the month at home to continue to relect to Scripture and pray about those things that are important to them.

Rooted is a great introduction to discipleship and offers the opportunity to ask questions about faith, God and the church in a safe, non-judgemental space. Our young people are also encouraged to take part in the life of the church and to put their faith in action through things like our Lent project.
