An invitation for you…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (27th July) there will be services in both of our Churches. You will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.
Christ Church
Our Sunday Worship begins at 11am and will include an extended time for worship and the study of God’s word. Our Bible reading will be Colossians 2.6-19. If you’ve not been to our Church before, please arrive a few minutes before 11am and a member of our welcome team will be glad to assist you. The service will be followed by tea and coffee in the Bower Room and everyone is welcome to stay and join in.
St Peter’s Church
This coming Sunday we gather at 9.30am for our service of Holy Communion. This traditional service uses words from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer accompanied by traditional hymns. Even if you’ve never been to Church before, we are sure you will find yourself touched by the reverence of our worship together. Our Bible Readings will be from Colossians 2.6-19 & Luke 11.1-13. The service will be followed by tea and coffee served in the Vestry.
