An invitation for you…

Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and everyone is welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us.

Christ Church
This coming weekend, our Sunday worship begins at 11am and will include the sharing of bread and wine in Holy Communion. There’s no need to let us know that you are coming, just turn up a few minutes before the service starts and someone will make sure that you have everything you need to participate in the service. Our Bible reading will be 2 Timothy 1.1-14. After the service, refreshments will be served in The Bower Room and everyone is welcome to stay.

St Peter’s Church
This Sunday (5th October) we have two services at St Peter’s. Our main service will be a service of Morning Prayer (also called Matins) and it begins at 9.30am. The service uses traditional text from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and Bible readings from Psalm 37, Habakkuk 1.1-4; 2.1-4 and 2 Timothy 1.1-14. If you are new to St Peter’s, please speak to a member of the welcome team who will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the service. This service will be followed by tea/coffee served in the vestry.
Later, at 4pm, we meet again for our Senior Sunday service which consists of a short act of worship for seniors followed by a sandwich tea.
