An invitation for you…

Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (7th September) there will be services in both of our Churches. You will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.

Christ Church
Our Sunday Worship at Christ Church begins at 11am and, this week, includes a celebration of Holy Communion (sharing of Bread and Wine in remembrance of Jesus). The service is suitable for all ages and there will be themed activities on hand to keep the children busy. Our Bible reading for the service will be from Philemon 1-21. After the service, free refreshments will be served in the Bower Room and everyone is invited to stay.

St Peter’s Church
At St Peter’s we have a special service of Morning Prayer (sometimes called Matins) incorporating the baptism of Erin Poynton. Everyone is invited to join us – the service begins at 9.30am. Our Bible readings are from Deuteronomy 30.15-20 and Philemon 1-21. After the service free refreshments will be served in the Antill Vestry and everyone is invited to stay and join in.
