An invitation for you…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (24th August) there will be services in both of our Churches. You will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.
Christ Church
We gather for our Sunday Worship at 11am and would love it if you could join us. At Christ Church, there are always activities available for children and families, so everyone is welcome regardless of age. If you’ve not been to our Church before, please arrive a few minutes before 11am and a member of our welcome team will be glad to assist you. Our Bible reading for the service is Hebrews 12.18-29. After the service, there will be free refreshments (tea/coffee) served in the Bower Room and you are welcome to join us.
St Peter’s Church
This coming Sunday we gather at 9.30am for our service of Holy Communion. This traditional service uses words from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer accompanied by traditional hymns. Even if you’ve never been to Church before, we are sure you will find yourself touched by the reverence of our worship together. Our Bible Readings will be from Hebrews 12.18-29 & Luke 13.10-17. The service will be followed by tea and coffee served in the Vestry.
