An invitation for you…

Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming weekend there will be services in both of our Churches and you will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.

Christ Church
The weather is looking good for a beautiful Muddy Church on Saturday 26th April. We meet at 4pm in The Orchard (enter through the gate in the fence in the back corner of the Churchyard). Meeting God in creation is the aim of our Muddy Church and we invite you to come along and join in. Make sure to wear suitable clothing for the weather.
On Sunday morning (27th April) we meet in the Church for our Sunday Worship which begins at 11am. We welcome as our preacher this week the Archdeacon of Loughborough. Our Bible reading will be from John 20.19-31. After the service, free refreshments will be available in The Bower Room and everyone is invited to stay. Our Annual Meeting will also take place and further details can be found by following the menu link above.

St Peter’s Church
This weekend, we continue our Easter celebrations with a service of Evening Prayer (also known as Evensong). Our preacher will be Revd Colin Resch. Our psalm for the service will be Psalm 150. The Bible readings will be Acts 5.27-32 & John 20.19-31.
After the service, there will be refreshments available in The Vestry and we will also hold our Annual Meeting to elect two churchwardens and three new members of the Parochial Church Council. During the meeting we will receive a report of the work of the Church over the last year and there will be the opportunity to ask questions about the life of the Church in our parish. More information about the annual meeting can be found by following the menu link above.
