An invitation to you…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming weekend, there will be services in both of our Churches and you will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.
Christ Church
On Saturday 22nd February, we host our first Muddy Church of 2025 in The Orchard (behind Christ Church). Come along at 4pm and join in the delight of outside worship around an open fire. There will be hot drinks available as well as marshmallows to toast. Wrap up warm, wear sensible shoes and bring something to sit on if possible.
Our Sunday Worship begins at 11am and we look forward to welcoming you to Christ Church as we gather as God’s family to worship him. Our Bible Reading this Sunday is from Revelation 4.1-11. Come on your own, with a friend or with the whole family. All are welcome.
St Peter’s Church
This coming Sunday, 23rd February, we gather at 9.30am for our service of Holy Communion. This traditional service uses words from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer accompanied by traditional hymns. Even if you’ve never been to Church before, we are sure you will find yourself touched by the reverence of our worship together. Our Bible Readings will be from Revelation 4.1-11 & Luke 8.22-25. The service will be followed by tea and coffee served in the Vestry.
