An invitation for you to join us…

Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday, 16th February, there will be services in both of our Churches and you will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.

Christ Church
Our Sunday Worship begins at 11am. The service will be led by Colin Resch and we will be exploring the Blessings of God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ with Bible readings from 1 Corinthians 15.12-20 and Luke 6.17-26. There will also be the opportunity for you to receive prayers of healing – either for yourself or on behalf of someone else. Tea/Coffee will be served (free of charge) in The Bower Room after the service and we would love you to stay if you can.

St Peter’s Church
At 4pm today we have our very special service of Tea Time Church – a short half hour family friendly frenzy of worship and Bible teaching and prayer followed by sandwich tea and cake.

At 6pm we come together again for a traditional service of Evening Prayer (also called Evensong). This traditional form of worship has been used for hundreds of years and all are welcome to come along and join in. Our Bible readings will be from Jeremiah 17.5-10. and 1 Corinthians 15.12-20. There will be tea/coffee served in the vestry after this service.
