Christmas Tree Festival (online)

Have you ever wandered around a Christmas Tree Festival thinking ‘I could do better than that’? Well this year you have the chance.

Not having to worry about space, or social distancing or providing hand sanitiser, or face coverings, or having enough tea, coffee and cake, we are going BIG and inviting anyone and everyone to enter a tree into our online Christmas Tree Festival.

Whether you are a small Business, Large Business, Village Group, Church family, School family, Living on your own, Mountsorrel Family or from even further afield, take a photograph of your tree and either put it directly onto our new Facebook page at facebook.com/
or in the comments below. Don’t forget to name your tree and tell us why you have decorated it in the way you have.

  • Trees should be entered no later than Friday 18th December
  • Please make sure we have your contact details
  • The tree that receives the most ‘likes’ on facebook by midnight 23rd December will be judged our ‘winning tree’.
  • Winners will be announced on Christmas Eve.

This lovely idea is from one of our Fun@4 children and she will be the Judge of ‘Emma’s Favourite Tree’. Despite what the papers say, Christmas is NOT cancelled, it will just be different. Perhaps giving us all the chance to slow down a little and remember the real meaning of Christ’s Mass.

The White's Christmas tree. Full of decorations made by Daniel and Sarah over the years and decorations we've gifted to each other each year 😊

This is the ceramic tree in the vicarage study. Colin has owned this for over thirty years and it is still looking as good as when it was new.
