At Fun@4 on Sunday, we enjoyed lots of activities on the theme of the Queen’s Jubilee. Helen, who can (just) remember the actual Coronation brought lots of interesting things for us to look at and told us of her memories including going to a neighbours house to watch it on their black & white television!
Look out for the bunting we created on Jubilee weekend!
On Saturday 16th April, we gathered in the orchard behind Christ Church for our first Muddy Church. Singing around the fire, smores and nature activities were enjoyed by everyone from toddlers to seniors! Little ones particularly enjoyed the muddy patch play and lots of us had a go at painting stones, as well as enjoying a scavenger hunt and Easter egg trail.
Muddy Church is for everyone, it takes place whatever the weather and is an hour spent in nature which can be enjoyed as a family or an individual. There’s people to chat with, activities to take part in, or you can simply come and sit quietly and enjoy the outdoors. Our next Muddy Church is on Saturday 21st May and everyone is welcome!
