An invitation for you…

Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services. They are open to all and everyone is welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (9 August) the village celebrates the Mountsorrel Revival and our two Churches are coming together for one special service at the start of the day. We would love to extend a welcome to you even if you have never been to Church before or if it has been a while since you have been with us.

Join us at St Peter’s Church for a short service of Holy Communion at the start of this very special day for our village community. Our Bible reading will be Matthew 14.22-33. After the conclusion of our service, do stay to join us for tea and coffee served in the Antill Vestry at the back of Church when you will have the opportunity to chat to other members of the congregation and make new friends.

At 11am, we will be open for visitors to Mountsorrel Revival. We will be offering refreshments in the Churchyard, have-a-go bell-ringing and garden games. There will also be a Water or Wine stall – why not come and try your luck.
