An invitation for you…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and everyone is welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (14th December) we have services in both of our Churches and we would love to extend a welcome to you even if you have never been to Church before or if it has been a while since you have been with us.
Christ Church
Join us at 11am for a Crib Service led by our Children and Families Worker, Alison White. The service will be interactive and suitable for people of all ages – young and old. As we build up our crib scene during the service, we will re-tell the Christmas story reflecting on its important message to us in 2025. There will be tea & coffee available throughout the service (with the odd sweet treat) to create a truly relaxed atmosphere. If it’s your first time coming, then do let one of the welcome team know and we will be able to answer any questions you may have about the service.
St Peter’s Church
Join us at St Peter’s for a service of Holy Communion using liturgy from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. The words and music of this traditional service will draw you close to the living God in worship and adoration. After the service, do stay to join us for tea and coffee served in the Antill Vestry at the back of Church.
Later, at 4pm, we come together again for our very special Senior Sunday – a short act of worship followed by a sandwich tea served in the Vestry.
