An invitation for you…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and everyone is welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This week (12th October), there are services in both of our Churches and you are we would love to welcome you to any of them:
Christ Church
This week we meet for Sunday Worship at 11am and you are most welcome to join us. There’s no need to let us know that you are coming, just turn up a few minutes before the service starts and a member of our welcome team will make sure that you have everything you need. The service this week will be led by members of our Children & Families team and will include tea and coffee available throughout.
St Peter’s Church
This week join us for a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am using the traditional words of the Book of Common Prayer. The Bible readings for our service are 2 Timothy 2.8-15 and Luke 17.11-19. If you are new to St Peter’s, please introduce yourself to a member of our welcome team and we will make sure that you have everything you need for the service. Afterwards, do stay for tea or coffee served free of charge in the vestry.
Later, at 4pm, we meet again for our Senior Sunday service which consists of a short act of worship for seniors followed by a sandwich tea.
