An invitation for you…

Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This Thursday (29th May) is Ascension Day and we will mark this with a special service of Holy Communion at St Peter’s Church which begins at 7pm. This service will be followed by a bring and share supper to which everyone is invited. Ascension Day also marks the beginning of Thy Kingdom Come – a special period of prayer for others. At St Peter’s we will gather every evening from 29th May to 7th June inclusive for a short service of Night Prayer (Compline) which begins at 8.30pm. This is a great way to end the day and we would be more than happy for you to join us.

This coming weekend (1st June) there will be services in both of our Churches and you will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.

Christ Church
We gather for our Sunday Worship at 11am and would love it if you could join us. At Christ Church, there are always activities available for children and families, so everyone is welcome regardless of age. This coming Sunday our worship includes the sharing of Holy Communion (bread and wine) in remembrance of Jesus breaking bread with his disciples at the last supper. After the service, there will be free refreshments (tea/coffee) served in the Bower Room and you are welcome to join us.

St Peter’s Church
This Sunday we gather for a service of Morning Prayer (also known as Matins) which begins at 9.30am. Everyone is welcome even if you’ve never been to Church before. The service uses traditional language and hymns. We are sure that you will find the service uplifting. At the end of the service, free refreshments are served in the Antil Vestry and we would love it if you could stay and chat with us.
