An invitation for you this Easter weekend…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (20th April) is Easter Sunday – a day when the remembers again the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. There will be services in both of our Churches and you will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before – to find out more.
Christ Church
Our Sunday Worship for Easter Day begins at 11am and we’d love to extend an invitation for you to join us.
Our services are suitable for people of all ages and you can be assured of a warm welcome whether you are new to our Church or if you’ve been coming along since… well, for ever. We offer a blend of modern worship that we think you will enjoy. Come on your own, with a friend or with your family. Parents, bring your children; children, bring your grown-ups.
Today is Easter Sunday and in our service today, we share in Holy Communion (bread and wine) remembering the Last Supper when Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples asking that they continue to do this in remembrance of him.
If you’re new to Church, just let someone know when you arrive and we will guide you through the service and answer any questions you might have. There’s always good coffee on hand (other drinks are available) and a biscuit or two.
St Peter’s Church
Today is Easter Sunday and we remember Christ, risen from the dead. Alleluia! Christ is risen.
Join us at St Peter’s at for a service of Holy Communion using liturgy from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. The service begins at 9.30am. Whether you are new to Church or have been attending for many years, we are sure that you will find the words and music draw you close to the living God in worship and adoration.
After the conclusion of our service, do stay to join us for tea and coffee served in the Antill Vestry at the back of Church when you will have the opportunity to chat to other members of the congregation and make new friends.
