An invitation for you…
Welcome to our website. We’d like to thank you for popping by and take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our public worship services in the coming days. They are open to all and all are welcome.
Our gathered worship is a key expression of our love for God and we believe that when we gather together, Jesus is with us and among us. This coming Sunday (13th April) is Palm Sunday when we remember again Jesus entry into Jerusalem before his arrest and crucifixion. There will be services in both of our Churches and you will be most welcome to join with us – even if you’ve never been to our Church before.
Christ Church
We meet at 11am and will celebrate Palm Sunday with a special service of Holy Communion with activities designed for all ages. Refreshments will be served throughout the service and we can guarantee you a warm welcome even if it’s your first time with us.
St Peter’s Church
This week we have a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am to celebrate Palm Sunday. The service here uses traditional liturgy from The Book Of Common Prayer. After the service, tea/coffee will be available in the Vestry.
Later, at 4pm, we meet again for Senior Sunday consisting of a short act of worship followed by a sandwich tea.
